Less than 20 minutes by car from Bordeaux, in Bouliac, you will find an extraordinary restaurant that will surprise you in more ways than one: Saint-James. Some call this luxury hotel "the balcony of Bordeaux", because of the panoramic views of the Bordeaux city and the Garonne from the dining room and the terrace of this gourmet restaurant. The Saint-James was built in a magnificent 18th century farmhouse converted into an architect's hotel well integrated into the environment. As you approach the establishment, you will be fascinated by the four pavilions erected in the heart of a green setting, between the vines. For the design, the architect was inspired by the old tobacco dryers. A wise idea taken to the extreme, because he wanted to keep the rusty appearance which attests to the inexorable passage of time. An idea so innovative and so well implemented, that the Ministry of Culture rewarded Saint James by granting it the label "Heritage of the 20th century". • Children's menu (several formulas for children under 12), between 20 € and 65 
  

The Saint-James restaurant is open from Tuesday evening to Saturday evening. For an aperitif with friends or a cocktail for two, meet at the Saint-James bar with its different spaces: the terrace facing Bordeaux and the hotel park during sunny days, the room with its furniture designed by Jean Nouvel with its large fireplace in winter.

A luxury hotel

The Saint-James has three types of spacious, bright and contemporary rooms accessible to people with reduced mobility:

• Standard (20 to 25 m2): they are located on the first floor of the 1st building designed by Jean Nouvel. Views of Bordeaux and the hotel park.
• Luxury (25 to 30 m2): they are spread over 3 buildings. Views of the hotel grounds while lying down.
• Suites (45 m2): The 3 suites are equipped with a private jacuzzi, a terrace and a Harley Davidson. Views of Bordeaux and the hotel park.

In addition to the bar and restaurant, you will find on site free parking reserved for guests, free Wi-Fi, swimming pool, sauna, tea room, laundry, workspace with fax and photocopying machine.
